We thought we would prep ourselves for Mongolia by trying out some authentic Mongolian food in London. Last year we went out to China town to see London’s version of the celebrations and were lucky enough to snap a video of the dragon dance. If roasting a turkey seems too daunting, then why not make the most popular choice of roasts – a roast chicken! I’ve compiled 5 different ideas from making the simplest of roast chickens to something a tad more special. Marries up beautifully with crispy streaky bacon, plump leek sausages and lashings of maple syrup. Perfect hangover food! The biggest day of the year for Christ Church Spitalfields – the Christmas choir service. The choir sings carols and hymns all afternoon then have an evening service and drinks afterward. During the afternoon they stop for lunch, usually a bit of quiche, some cold drumsticks and crisps…not this year! |
