I could never understand how the crackling roast pork in Chinese restaurants gets so crispy and so flavoursome…now I know! Last year we went out to China town to see London’s version of the celebrations and were lucky enough to snap a video of the dragon dance. This is a really lovely recipe of pure indulgence – classy too if you need to impress the other half!
If roasting a turkey seems too daunting, then why not make the most popular choice of roasts – a roast chicken! I’ve compiled 5 different ideas from making the simplest of roast chickens to something a tad more special. Wintertime calls for warming, hearty comfort food and what to drink? Mulled wine? bleugh! no thanks. This recipe is a great alternative to mulled wine.
