We thought we would prep ourselves for Mongolia by trying out some authentic Mongolian food in London.

Last year we went out to China town to see London’s version of the celebrations and were lucky enough to snap a video of the dragon dance. The biggest day of the year for Christ Church Spitalfields – the Christmas choir service. The choir sings carols and hymns all afternoon then have an evening service and drinks afterward. During the afternoon they stop for lunch, usually a bit of quiche, some cold drumsticks and crisps…not this year! Every time I baked this carrot cake for someone, they never fail to ask for the recipe!
